Really awesome. =)

Anyone who said planning a wedding is a stressful thing, it’s scary, and that you’ll be bounded forever, I think my sis, and my brother in law (yes, I’ve said it - brother-in-law) is out to prove them wrong.
Watching this video reminds me of the days when Ce and I played bride and groom and dream about our wedding when we were little.
It still feels surreal till today. But I bet it’s going to hit me someday, that she’s sharing her life with another man who loves her dearly now… so that’s it. We live, we grow up, find our prince, and live happily ever after, because God intended it that way.
“This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man. That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.” - Genesis 2:24
I can’t stop smiling and feeling the happiness and congrats once again, cece. Beautifully done video too. It’s such a surreal feeling to see someone you’ve grown up with get married and entering the next phase of life, but we’ll now be waiting for your mini-mes to run about eh? ;)

This little fella is quite the charmer and utterly adorable =) It melts your heart when he calls you and goes “I miss you leh” even though you’ve been seeing him the entire day, and singing the same few songs over and over again, even though sometimes he messes up the words. It’s like a musical, only with the same few songs repeated over and over.
James: I got a fan letter, from a young lady. It was a suicide note. So I uh, I called her. I said, ‘Hey this is Jimmy Doohan. Scotty of Star Trek.’ I said, ‘I’m doing a con in Indianapolis. I want you to be there.’ I saw her and, I couldn’t believe what I saw. She was definitely suicidal. Somebody had to help her somehow. And obviously she wasn’t going to the right people. Anyhow I said, ‘I’m doing a convention two weeks from now in St. Louis.’ Two weeks from then and something and then she came to New York. And she was able to afford to go to these places. And this went on for two or three years. Maybe eighteen times. And all I did was talk to her, positive things. And then all of a sudden, ZIP. Nothing. I didn’t hear anything I didn’t know what was happening cause I never saved her address. Eight years later I get a letter saying, ‘I do want to thank you so much for what you did for me, because I just got my masters in electronic engineering.’ You know, to me, thats the best thing I have ever done in my life. And it brings tears to my eyes every time I even talk about the story.
Reblogging this again because it is the most beautiful thing ever.

The kids over at Digital Kitchen set up three Canon 5D MarkII’s and were able to get these amazing wiggle GIFs of all their party guests.
Here’s our guide to make your own 3D photos at home.

Went for my cousin’s wedding dinner last night (1st of 3), and I think this has to be my favourite picture of the night. =D This is what my cousins call the “lala pose”, and it’s fun to do in a group with sporting people, hehe.
Relatives are awesome fun, and I miss them already. All the laughter, crazy antics and even line dancing, trying the wave board during which a bunch of 20+ year olds got upstaged by kids (“It’s so easy lah, see” and us falling off the board repeatedly), can’t help smiling just thinking of it. =)
Some guidelines for loving:
1. Tell them about their brilliance. They likely can’t see it and they don’t know its immensity, but you can see it, and you can illuminate it for them.
2. Be authentic, and give others the gift of the real you and a real…

you thought I didn’t really notice. But I did. I wanted to high-five you. Yesterday I had a pair of brothers in my store. One was maybe between 15-17. He was a wrestler at the local high school. Kind of tall, stocky and handsome. He had a younger brother, who was maybe about 10-12 years old. The only way to describe him was scrawny, neat, and very clean for a boy his age. They were talking about finding a game for the younger one, and he was absolutely insisting it be one with a female character. I don’t know how many of y’all play games, but that isn’t exactly easy. Eventually, I helped the brothers pick a game called Mirror’s Edge. The youngest was pretty excited about the game, and then he specifically asked me.. “Do you have any girl color controllers?” I directed him to the only colored controllers we have which includes pink and purple ones. He grabbed the purple one, and informed me purple was his FAVORITE. The boys had been taking awhile, so their father eventually comes in. He see’s the game, and the controller, and starts in on the youngest about how he needs to pick something different. Something more manly. Something with guns and fighting, and certainly not a purple controller. He tries to convince him to get the new Zombie game “Dead Island.” and the little boy just stands there repeating “Dad, this is what I want, ok?” Eventually it turns into a full blown argument complete with Dad threatening to whoop his son if he doesn’t choose different items. That’s when big brother stepped in. He said to his Dad “It’s my money, it’s my gift to him, if it’s what he wants I’m getting it for him, and if your gonna hit anyone for it, it’s going to be me.” Dad just gives his oldest son a strong stern stare down, and then leaves the store. Little brother is crying quietly, I walk over and ruffle his hair (yes this happened all in front of me.) I say “I’m a girl, and I like the color blue, and I like shooting games. There’s nothing wrong with what you like. Even if it’s different than what people think you should.” I smile, he smiles back (my heart melts!) Big brother then leans down, kisses little brother on the head, and says “Don’t worry dude.” They check out and leave, and all I can think is how awesome big brother is, how sweet little brother is, and how Dad ought to be ashamed for trying to make his son any other way.
I have a nephew who prefers the colour pink over blue or any other ‘manly’ colours and I find that absolutely all right. If anyone tries to tell him that’s not okay his mum would give that person a piece of her mind and I would be right behind her, backing her up because he should not be made to feel bad just because he likes a certain colour.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Trailer)
Came across this movie and it’s adorable. =) Funny at times, heart breaking at times, I still find it somewhat amusing that the characters are made to look older by having puffed up hairdos and more make up (the females) on. At least they weren’t older for more than 10 minutes.
Those are the best things about having kids, is just those everyday, really funny, weird moments that you could never predict, that completely change your mood and, you know, open up your heart.

Done in June 2011.
The brief was to use graphic design to make people think and laugh. This was my response.
Typografail is a stationery range aimed at lovers of type. Here are three small notebooks, a work diary and a notepad (inside a notepad holder).
I came up with the copy, designed the covers, screen-printed all the covers onto board and made the books + notepad holder too.
Haha I like!
